Message from the Embassy
This past year 2016 has been an important year for the Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement (KORUS FTA). Marking its 5th year of implementation, the complete elimination of tariffs on automobiles and semiconductor components set a key milestone for a greater flow of trade and investment between the two countries in the years to come. The success of the KORUS FTA has been showcased by the increase in the volume of Korea-U.S. trade and exchange in people to people ties. The Korean Embassy continues to support and promote robust economic and security relations with the United States through the KORUS FTA.
The Korean Embassy wishes everyone a very happy holidays and a Happy New Year!
